Welcome to this review of the Class of 2021!
2021, if I should be honest, was not the best of years for the State. Things began pretty well, but then life happened, and the State became a ghost town everybody, including those that brought it up, had totally forgotten about. Sigh, it was rough, wasn’t it?
For this class, there are only two stories in there. Technically, it should’ve been four. But “You’re Gonna Regret This” was never completed, and Power Couple was given major reconstructive surgery last year, so their re-releases made them 2022 stories. So this won’t be long.
Let’s take a look at the two members of 2021…
JOURNEY TO DA BAR

17th December 2020 is one of the best days of my life. After spending six years hoping, praying, studying and believing God that I would become a lawyer, the dream manifested on that glorious day. It was a day of celebration and thanksgiving, and the memory forever remains etched in my brain. A delightful way to end what was a pretty unforgettable year.
So this was a story I created to share my journey: where it all began, my LLB journey and all the issues involved, getting to the Ghana School of Law, and finally making it through. I had to create an audience to represent y’all the readers, so I called on the beloved children of Mr. And Mrs. Dolphyne to hear me out.
To me, it’s a beautiful reminder of how far God has brought me, and how thankful I ought to be. So many people who are wayyyyyyy smarter than me haven’t had the chance to pass the entrance examination, yet I did on the first attempt. God’s been good to me, and I’ll always have this as a memorial of that fact. And to the person who’s debating whether to pursue law or not, hopefully, this story will serve as a source of encouragement.
Yeah, it’s the major reason why the State became a desert with no tumbleweeds later on that year, but hey, life does its thing. And besides, I came back eventually, and I’m being very intentional about having a good balance from now onwards…
THE BIGGER PICTURE

The desire to be appreciated for the work you do. It’s in all of us.
And that’s what we see Miss Elizabeth Bossman deprived of at the beginning of this story, which really frustrates her. Can you blame her, though? There’s nothing delightful about being pushed aside and ignored because your work for God isn’t making tangible waves like others.
But this story brings one major lesson to the fore: when you’re working for God, just be faithful, because you have no idea how much impact you may be making with your efforts. Only in eternity will it be revealed to you how your labour in the vineyard impacted many. And that is where the applause will be totally worth it. While you do the work, keep it in mind that Elohim sees you and appreciates you, and you’ll get your due in due time.
You might not get the kind of encounter Lizzy had, but it’s certainly something worth keeping in mind.
Also, see how Lizzy’s dad and cousin made up their minds to appreciate her efforts more after the accident occurred. Yeah, God definitely knows how to turn things around for you when necessary…
So there you have it! The Class of 2021!
